The abundance and affordability of PVC resin's synthetic raw materials, coupled with strong market demand, have made PVC the second most widely used synthetic material globally. This widespread use has not only solidified PVC's leading position in the industry but has also led to increased attention paid to its processing, particularly the cutting of PVC sheets. Currently, there are three common cutting methods on the market: manual cutting, which has been gradually phased out due to inefficiency and lack of precision; laser cutting, which offers high speed and precision, but produces smoke and harmful odors during the thermal cutting process, which is detrimental to worker health and violates environmental regulations; and finally, a more advanced cutting method, which will be discussed in detail in the following sections.
Advantages of Oscillating Blade Cutters
The third type is the oscillating blade cutter. This model is based on the laser cutting machine, resulting from recent research and innovation. It inherits the high speed and precision of the laser cutting machine while cleverly replacing the laser tube with a mechanical cutter head, achieving a transition from thermal cutting to cold cutting with a blade.
